Well i ran slicks for the first time....
Got lap times down to about 1.30 which aint bad for still having **** brakes and never having a clear run.
Nice to see stef get Eaten by an escort cossie in the wet (escort was runing slicks)
I didn't get overtaken once.... when the tyres had warmed up....
A few scoobs......
Silver one which never got out of the way....(not good really)
Phil A in a his fast red STI...
Craig H was the fastest scoob of the morning
well enjoyed...

Did anyone see the RS Focus on track ?
I didnt go, but a friend (frp) who is v.close to Ford Racing did and said it was not hanging about.
He said there will be a standard (205ish) bhp version of the RS Focus and there will be a sports pack that takes it up to 250bhp ish. I am unsure of any exact costs involved. There will NOT be a 4x4 Cosworth Focus in the current Focus bodyshell/floorplan layout as they physically cannot get the 4x4 transmission in the floorplan without it costing too much. The Cosworth will be developed when the next generation of the Focus is released.

...twas a pukka day out Steve - makes me all warm inside to see proper Escorts being used as the good lord intended..but sad that ours is still poorly 6 months after its last event ...there was a mighty quick Group 4 MK2 in Fire Engine Red there with what sounded like a 2litre BDA in it....he gave it large everytime he came onto the pit straight ...and u could hear the diff crackle when he finished his stint hoorah ...cant wait to get ours back with the rebuilt BDA - sick of the 2.1 pinto now
