No in my opinion!!
The STi bb is only mild steel and the WR Sport stainless steel bb is offered as an optional upgrade to the mild steel backbox through your Subaru dealer
Nick
P.S: How come you never shown your face last night??? Wasn't you the guy who said "How come nobody waves to me in Warrington?" and we organised that meet just for you an all....

Strange - third time this has come up in a couple of weeks.....
Have both lying in my garage. They are almost identical. On both the inlet pipe is swaged down by about 8 or 10mm just after the point it bolts to the centre (probably either for noise or back pressure reasons).
It's probably the most restrictive part of the system, and best chucked in the skip.
So, IMHO, no advantage whatsoever in swopping them
