Thumbs up

Subura wins again. UK300 vs Evo 7 vs Skyline. Not read it all yet, just the summary.

Scoob gets it by being more compliant and with better running costs. Didn't think I'd read that and Subaru Turbo together.

Just got mine in the post 10 mins ago........

Not a bad result as it was up against £32K and £54K cars.......

Only real negative, excluding the suspension comments was the looks of the car at the front.

And if you don't mind a harsher ride and money's not an object ? (and you want a car that's nice to look at)

I really like the front of the UK300 thats why I bought one. Everyone I know has always commented on how good the lights look. Ok so it could look a bit meaner but I think it's good subtle. That way people who don't know what a Subaru is can't believe it when you pass them with ease.

Unhappy

The car they tested had the PPP and only got 3 stars for performance which isnt too good.

The car is obviously well set up for UK roads (which is tha main reason it won) but it sounds like it needs another 40bhp on top of the PPP to be a 5 star car. Maybe the UK STi will sort that out.

cheers

Cool

briefly read the article this morning. as david brown mentions, a lot depended on price to be honest.
if all cars were priced equally, i know which one would have won.bit of a weird comparison i thought. surely an sti7 vs evo7 vs integra or summat would have been better.

if you had the choice of the 3, and they were all equally priced, which would YOU have? hmmmm. no contest
