Thumbs up

I have a recent windfall of 350 squid. The wife said "go on, spend it on that lump of metal in the garage". So having paid various vile debts to the wife for buying a scoob i.e. going shopping, taking her to see subtitled films and ensuring all vases in house are fully stocked with flowers, i find myself with this money along with a blessing from her to spend it on the scoob. Any suggestions????????????????

Incidently the spec of scoob is as follows:

MY02 WRX with white reflectors and indicators. Morrette lamps.
otherwised everything is standard.

PS money must be spent before she sobers up

If I am not mistaken a scoobysport backbox costs about £350. That would be an ace way to spend it, burble and roar

Saxo

Pardon my ignorance but other than make it sound like a Challenger battle tank, what will it do

Get rid of the squashed butterfly rear wing and move onto something more meaningful. TSL fitted a new OEM subaru type for me today which really fits in with the lines of the car..it's not the biggest, longest, widest, in-your-face or the most expensive spoiler but looks like it just left the factory with it fitted.

Midlife.....MY02 WR blue mica

PS
They also fitted an STI bonnet scoop which the wife didn't notice as I was showing off the new rear wing. (not to mention the ITG filter and cool fog lamp covers)

The car will breath a little better and will be a little faster. Never in all my life have I heard a scoobysport bb described as sounding like a challenger battle tank

With both cats in place the ss bb isn't very loud and gives a nice burble at idle and a lovely roar under load. The standard pipe sounds cr@p by comparison

Paul (AKA) Trouser@TSL took some digital snaps of the spoiler as I left this afternoon. I'm sure TSL will let you have a look. For contact lookat web site www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk or follow many of the links.

As an aside, it's now about midnight and i've been in the garage cleansing and waxing the new additions (the rest of the family in bed),

For the money, have you considered getting some "real" wax for the scoob. I came home today, cleaned off millions of dead flies off the car in a few minutes. I use wax wizzard stuff which I find great.

Decisions..decisions...

admittedly i am getting on a bit. Its just that some tw@t goes past my house in a MY97 - 98? sportswagon and it sounds like 1.2 Nova with no exhaust. Everyone locally comments on how much of a d1ck he is and it's obvious he must have a very small male organ

Although i dont profess to have a large organ, i would not want people to think that i have a loud sounding car to compensate for a small member (however true or untrue that may be).......(allegidly)

The reason for buying a Scoob in the 1st place was to have a good allround performance car without having to buy a strange looking phalic symbol such as a 2 door hot hatch or porche, or even a half decent beamer.

Scoobs look like family cars but are raw and perform beautifully when you want them to.

you asked if anyone had them done i stated i did & they were for sale ! never said you should buy them LOL But now thatwould be different blue car silver sills !
No good mod mate for cheap money ! lowers height of car !

Also 6 camera geometry is the best mod i have had done ! TSL do i believe for £60 approx & at the same time you could get Eibach spring fitted ! It will transform the ride of your car !

as i say i think the geometry, which is like a better version of simple tracking, is about £60-£70 but worth every penny !
even cars from the factory come out badly or within tolerances !
This is exact ! & is mind blowing !
Give Paul or Graham at TSL a ring & book it in !

Very interested in this thread.

It now seems i shall have to opt for the TSL Firestorm.

Been to TSL can anyone please for the annoyance of doubt advise me of the following

1/ Will the BB fit onto a MY02 WRX

2/ Will my warranty be void

3/ Lifetime gaurentee? really?

4/ is it easy to fit (i'm not a grease monkey)

Thanx for the help guys

Save it for insurance/servicing and bits that go wrong, like heat shields and lambda sensors, then again your a man with Subaru warranty I wish I had a nice new reliable car.

Alright chaps!

thanks for the banter let see if i can help on some of these queries!

1/ Will the BB fit onto a MY02 WRX... oh yes..

2/ Will my warranty be void..no more than if you fit any other back box. 99% of all dealers are pretty sensible on BB alone

3/ Lifetime gaurentee? really?... really!! .. see how we make it and you will understand why

4/ is it easy to fit (i'm not a grease monkey) Should be no more than 5-10 mins work.. come here and we will pop it on for you FOC!

Hope this helps

cheers

Paul
TSL

PS.. alignment is £117 inc VAT.. but the best money to spend by far!!
