Hi All

I've been speaking to Rum (thanks tom) as it seems that most of the time when he clicks one of the Go button on the "hop to" menu, and also sometimes when he clicks on a thread title, he gets a blank page up saying something like :-

The document has moved here

wheere "here" is a hyperlink to a blank page with a single banner on it (and it always seems to be one of the "capital one" banners.

Is anyone else experiencing this as it this should NOT be happening, and we are trying to track down what's causing it. I can't reproduce it, so I'm hoping someone else is experiencing the problem.

If you are could you let me have as much detail as possible about when it happens / steps to reproduce it?

Thanks for your help

Simon

Yup,

AS discussed wityh Simon, this ishappening to me....and its been driving me nuts all day.

Basically it appears to be happening when one of the Capital Bank banner ads is on the screen....when you click on the next thread the following message comes up

FOUND

Document moved here

(where "here" is a hyperlink direct to the same banner ad)

Surely someone else has been getting this...or have I been the only one thats been "rumbled"??!!

Tom

Rum - is the capital bank a scoobynet banner? I got one last week (not on scoobynet) which did something similar. While it was open IE always jumped to it every time I clicked a button. It didn't happen with regular links, so I thought it might have been script and or virus related from the PC

Spent a few minutes refreshing the page and hopping around with "Hop to" option. Couldn't see any problems. Haven't tried any major testing of following the links though.

W2K Pro, IS 5.5.

About 50% of the time I click on a banner at the top of the screen I get the following message.....

Invalid Destination

Sorry, but the server encountered an error while trying to redirect you to the destination of the banner on which you clicked! The most likely cause of the problem is
that you attempted to click on a banner before the graphic image loaded. Another possibility is that you attempted to click on an old banner which was reloaded
from your browser's cache.

I'm using Netscape 4.77
