After being messed around by a couple of other companies I got up to TSL on the 9th. Managed to get a bit lost on the way but the trip up from London was definately worth it in the end. They are top blokes with excellent customer service. I went for the Group N kit which are 295mm brembo discs which use the original 4 pot calipers on my STi as well as Ferrodo DS2500 pads.

I was going to get the braided brake lines put on as well only to be told that the previous owner had already had them done so I spent the money on a tarty Forge VTA Dump valve instead. I am still trying to be quite gentle on the brakes as I want to bed them in properly over a long time but I can already feel a huge difference in stopping power and a much better feel to them over my crap old ones. I will hopefully be giving the brakes a proper workout in the next few days but for the price I paid compared to the £1600 odd that is being asked for a 6 pot setup I think they are a very good compromise.

I also spoke to Forge and ordered the blue spring for the Dump Valve as it doesn't make enough noise at the moment so I wil be swapping that over soon too.

Anyway thanks again to the guys at TSL and I will definatel be up again in a few months to get the car serviced and a few other bits and pieces like the geometry setup dorted out.

I have the same setup. They are much better than standard.

If your wheels look red then you have had some fun
