hi guys and gals

having some chips/scratches/blemishes sorted by my local dealer.
the guy who's doing it has done a great job on the bumper and door but says that the stone chips on the bonnet will have to be touched in as he won't be able to spray on the bonnet.

does this sound right?

i can't think of an explanation as other areas he has done have ranged from superficial to full thickness areas.
