If that's right looks like non-ppp's peak torque level it now at 3000rpm with a PPP, which is exactly the sorta thing I'm looking for

Now the question is what it'll do to my insurance for a ~15% power increase!

1 PS = 0.968 BHP so they're almost the same. 305 PS converts to just under 301 BHP.

Most Insurances reckon about £100 but they wern't sure as no offical figures were out
They graph is nice but it's what it feels like that counts

Cool

Insurance increase!? What insurance increase! WOOPAH!

Just range tesco, told them what it was, said 15% power increase, they put it in as new quote, no increase in premium!

(And yes, they spoke to the underwriters, took em ages while I sat on hold, but worth that wait)

Probably cos it already costs me £185/mo as it is, but hey if I can have the PPP for no more I think I wil

I am with Tesco's but asked in April for PPP quote they then said possibly £100 for 15% but now no extra charge as the song goes "Things can only get better........." LOL

I'll need the extra pennies for the smoking tyre

Stick to the Bensons mate. Smoking tyres, especially OEM Bridgestones, will make your teeth go black.

Russ,
Surely one a day won't hurt. Did you order your PPP from Listers??.

I did indeed.

Going to try one first though, as I may need the £2k for a couple of tyres for the M3.

I've got a faxed copy of the impossible-to-read-on-website graph of the PPP for the STi7 - the figure for Prodrive torque has been traced by the nice man at IM because it was in yellow and was invisible on the first fax. Figures look as follows:

Power - 305ps @ 6200rpm (what's this in bhp????)
Torque - 405nm @ 3900rpm (298.7 lb/ft)

Scanned it in and this is it:
