Manfrotto, amongst others, make one. Photo stores like Jessops etc can order them. However, I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there.

Ah, well the RB5 used in that feature, is now mine!!

Did you know the picture of my car and your car (slightly ahead of mine) is being used in and around Bristol currently as a flyer for EVO mag !! Should they ask for permission ?

Great pieces of kit.

I'll second that Chris! Nice bits of kit and they don't fall off on track. Go for the full one (about £75) rather than the slightly cheaper one as the marginally more expensive one includes the bits to clamp it to objects (such as a roll cage).

Phill,

Since Yex and I agreed to let the mag use our cars for Evo, and they are using the pix to promote the mag, there's no need for them to ask.

Personally, I've kept the one they sent me for posterity. It's particularly nice to have a pic, as my plate is currently on my Wife's Yaris.

Josh,

I have a copy of the flyer winging it way to me. Ian gave me a few copies of the magazine, including a copy that has never been opened. I have the CD with all the pictures of the cars on the photo shoot (including yours) on and a lovely big picture that I got framed in my kitchen

It's nice to keep these thing, for when you sell the car on. Not that I think I ever will

You plate is on your wifes car, does that mean you've sold your P1

Thumbs up

E mail Ian Sadler on here he supplies that kit - very quickly and efficiently too in my experience.

Phill,

So Yex didn't just sell you the car, he sold you the whole package

FYI, the pix on the CD are for your personal use only, as it contains shots which show the way in which Gus creats some of the pix. Although he makes no secret of how he works, he prefers not to make these things too public, as it spoils the fun. Rather like a magician I suppose.

No I haven't sold the P1, but it's currently wear P1 YOB Some git expressed an interest in my other plate, so I got a replacement, only to be let down. Still, it's only a bit of fun, innit!?! (Disagree and I'll kick you wiv my DMs)

On the subject of the thread, these mounts look very good, and are about 25% less than the manfrotto versions.
