If one more of you spineless ******* call me a tosser or an ******* I will invite you down to say it to my face...

Seriously, are you lot that blinkered that you cannot see that a car could possibly be better than your beloved scoobies? For those of you that think a subaru is better than a new M3 in any way then I really think you need your head examined!

Take a step out of 'scoobynet' into the real world lads, you may get a shock.

its not about whats better, its about what you prefer.
I would prefer a 22b over an M3, but I would take an M3 over my current scooby.
If everyone had the same views, life would be sh*t

I'm confused... I have a scooby and an m3, I suppose I'll just have to sit on the fence and duck fire from both sides!

I agree, a Scooby isn't everything. I would swap mine for an Evo VII any day (where's my cheque book gone...... oh yeah the Wife's took it off me ).

Aha, I just realised, theres nothing to stop me saying that I often wonder if TVR stands for Towed Very Regularly (rather than TreVoR).

eh? Get out of the wrong side of the bed POC? Whose called u a tosser or an arsehole then? I thought most of the threads were generalising about BMW/TVR drivers? Doesnt mean u are one. Youre obviously not anyway, I dont even know you, but I think you are a top bloke just from reading your posts. Most of the time its tongue in cheek anyway

You've forgotten AMG Mercs POC.

I agree everyone should have an opinion - but theres a difference between having an opinion and being deluded to the point of blindness.

Let's face it - a new WRX struggles big time against the more potent hot hatches nowadays which is a joke - when you throw in the cr4p build quality, running costs etc, personally i don't think it's such an appealing package anymore.

I still like Scoobs but it's no longer 1995..........

POC,

If you change cars as often as your lucky enough to do, your gonna come under fire from all directions no matter what you currently have

I personally couldn't give a to$$ what you drive, you've obviously chosen your past cars for a particular quality they have, as long as you never chose the EVO coz it was Yellow

Rich,

Which bit do you need explaining? Build quality? Just check out any new cars - Alfa, Ford, Vauxhall, Skoda, SEAT, Toyota, Honda etc to see what I mean - won't even go to Audi, VW, BMW etc cos they're not worth comparing

Scoobs remind me of Mullet hairstyles - they seemed ok in the early 80's, but now people just laugh and take the ****.
As to Subaru build quality - it's advanced to early 90's type quality - ie, 10 years behind most others, apart from Kia, Daewoo etc

I also own BMs as well as a Scoob, I get annoyed with some of the blinkered tossers, as well as the "***** toasts scoob" posts and all the other crap.

What is pretty obvious though is that most of the people on here, although they clearly love their Subarus, do not have tunnel vision and can appreciate other cars.

If you can't handle the trolls, or really feel the need to throw your opinion that your car is superior in peoples faces, maybe a Subaru board isn't the best place for you?

All the best,

Deano

gents I know we love them but they are bits of metal....

I own scoobie which I love but I also own a X5 which I also love for very different reasons...

If you cannot rise above the to55er comments and realise that they are always gross genralisations and not aimed at you then you need to take a deep breath and count to 5....

as for those Ford drivers..To55ers....lol

Most people buy scoobs for the value of money, fun factor, chicks love em, reasonably priced, reliable....any more guys ?
Yes scoobs are quick but there will always be quicker !
My boss has a Lotus Esprit 3.5 V8 350BHP beast 0-60 4.3 secs 0-100 in 10secs ! I drove it and its amazing but there are faster cars than that !
People buy what they can afford and what they like and anyone who goes on saying oh yeah my scooby pissed a lotus yesteday is full of **** because most scooby drivers wouldn't bull**** like that.
said my piece anyway.

Scooby drivers are just older boy racers.

We buy a car then stick bits on it ,lower it, and change exhausts?

Is this not what Nova, Saxo boys do?

Its just Scooby drivers have more cash.....................

What a load of rollox. I prefer the 22B to the mew M3, so I have one. I prefer the MY02 Audi S3 to the MY02 WRX, so I have one of those too.
Bye bye scoobynet.

i think your over reacting a little i drive a bmw too & of course like you i get fed up with the stupid coments ya get from sum folk on here but most are ok. we all think our car is the mutts nuts & no one can beat it & id race any scoob on here in a straight line & thrash the **** off em, but, round bends i wouldnt even bother. thats why im selling my great looking beemer & crossing over to the dark side & buying a scoob .it might look like **** but who wants to drive in straight lines all the time.

I prefer my Scoob when its wet and the Griff when its dry.

They both have their own strengths/weaknesses and different qualities that emerge in different situations.
