Gone from an MY00 to MY01 and noticed the newer shape feels alot heavier when cornering.

The MY00 felt alot like a gokart which I found a 'good thing!'

Bring on my new facelifted MY03 @ the end of the year

The new one is sharper, the old one is more fun ('cause it's easier to drift

The Sti7 is sharper and more fun than either...

New shape rides softer and has lighter steering - less feedback than old car but isnt as hard work to drive fast.

Wink

The new shape rides softer if you don't change the wheels and suspension!

The MY01/02 chasis is stiffer than the previous models a reason that not many new shape owners have bothered to add after market strut braces to the rear and under the car.

I found the old shape better,
The new one's soft suspension and extra weight is too noticed,
it has better grip, and probably better for the novice driver but the old one is just more raw fun.
The STI (new shape) is so different and better, I was just amazed, it so direct and balanced.....PPP + new lights and its perfect!

Cool

If I get some time (ho!) I'll get vid of PTMW! (PPP, Leda, Brakes) chasing P Croney & Dave T-S round Brands (both Full De-Cat, Leda, Brakes) & you'll see that the new shapes can NOT get away

In fact, you'd probably agree that PTMW! was "harassing" the new ones to go faster
