MY03 - Bug eyes R.I.P
#1
Bug eyed residules are surely gonna die big time ?
Not only is MY03 a hell of an improvement at the front but it apparently gets much better interior quality/look (like new Forester)but also has several chassis tweaks and significantly more torque across rev. range and new revised exhaust system.
Do i wait for Bug eyes to drop and save a **** load (as it is still a great car) or bite bullet and place order for MY03 ?
Any thoughts ?

i think you will find that MY02 Imprezas will not drop much. Rather the MY03 Imprezas will be dearer than 02's are now. Can you wait until next March for your inflated price 03.

Agree with roady,
MY03 will not change in performance whatsoever. Nose end only i.e. from the base of the windscreen down. Maybe Lexus style lighting at rear. For this you will have the privelage of paying 1500 - 2000 quid extra.

I've got morettes and Lexus rear lights from TSL.
"right here-right now" as the song lyrics go !!
I thought hard about waiting for MY03 , I waited a long time for the new MR2 back in 1989 (midlife crisis remember) but bought a 1987 model instead. real glad I did....new model was seriously bloated and looked blobby. New MR2 available today has rectified that.
I now have (as well as the MY02 scooby) a1987 MR2 looking more like 2002 model than those in between.
I guess in a couple of years they'll be back to the classic shape again, rather like the RB5 that parks near me in Carlisle (can I buy it when you've finished??)
