Ok.....I've been getting quotes for an MY01 with morette headlight conversion and I have 7 years no claims protected and Im 30 with one SP30 and one claim (one life lost)....best I can get is £834 with Admiral.....anyone got any other companies they can recommend ?

Tried Directline, Bell Direct, Tesco, etc

Try Norwich Union or privilege insurance.

Elephant usually manage to under-cut admiral. Strangely enough, elephant is the name Admiral gives to its on-line insurance branch

I think he means one 'life' of his 'two accidents in three years without loss of NCB'.

I spoke to NFU Mutual today, and the only Imprezas they could find on their database were LX, GL and UK300. According to the bloke I spoke to, it's because they no longer insure the other types (inc. Turbo 2000 AWD). Can't see why they'd insure a UK300 and not a normal turbo or WRX, but anyway.
