Question

Is it just me or do people who drive around with number plates like P1.oNKER , G43RYS , just make them selves and there car look stupid?
I am sure everyone has seen the ones im talking about, they often have numerous bolts, screws, bits of black electrical tape trying to spell out names and words.
Whats the opinon of Scooby Drivers???

I like you have absolutely no idea why some people think their plates are a) cool and b) worth anything

Mis-spacing, changing the shape of numbers to be letters - its a mugs game.

ps wanna buy V6 AWE ...?

I don't see a problem with folks having their initials but I tend to agree with what you're saying about spelling (or trying to), words.
K 1 NGS, ELV 1 S, B 1 NGO...fine but when it comes down to strategically placed screws etc. that's a bit much.

Its a personal touch to the car. I don't think it really matters that much.

I have a PP on my WRX (** WRX) just a bit of fun for a few hundred quid and its easy to remember (can be a problem though as people know its me ). Amazing people think I spent thousands on it including a guy who made me a new front plate . Jokingly I told him he could have it for 5K then I told him what I had paid for it .

If you dont get it dont buy it. Must say there are no screws on my rear number as its stuck on .

Cheers

I always thought private plates were for tossers, until I bought one. Now I know they are.

Anyone fancy looking cool, and buying a private plate that doesn't need mis-spaced.

T555SRT (Subaru Rally Team)

Email me if it is of interest.

I'm glad its not just me who thought they looked silly, i have no problem with number plates like W2 WRX is selling (T555 SRT) or other ones like N1 WRX ive always thought they looked cool, its just when people start adding the screws, bolts, black tape etc

Danny

P.S.
I didnt mean to hurt RB5-Black's feelings!

Cool

My motivation was simple. I have an import Legacy GTB has a narrow indent in the front bumper to insert a 'Jap' sized plate, so I got a 5 digit number and had it made up on a short plate to fit the gap.
** GTB
and it looks the dogs,
IMHO
