Question

Earlier there was a thread on the BBS about some heavy-duty "rally-style" mudflaps from a source in Sweden. Someone also put up a thread saying they were getting some manufactured. Does anyone remember this and if so what is the state of play?????
If it has all been forgotten then can anyone tell me of a place (UK if possible) where I can buy some!!!!

If you guys are looking for Rally Mud Flaps the cheapest ways is to buy a strip of Heavy Duty Wharehouse door slats available in all colours in all the sizes.

Thumbs up

I bought mine from Performance Parts ( PERFORMANCEPART@tinyonline.co.uk ) in Luton, it worked out at about £7 a flap. I then had the brackets made up for £30..

so it worked out at about £70 all in with Nuts, bolts and waeshers, etc...

Mind you, it took about 6 hours to fit them in total.. someone posted fitting instuctions on here ages ago, managed to follow them and they now look the dogs danglies.. .!

Be warned though...!! whilst reversing up a kerb at home I managed to sandwich the flap between the kerb and the wheel.. . Which ripped the flap and bracket out of the arch, bending the inner arch as well... not quite what I needed on a Sunday afternoon...!!! especially as it took about 2 hours to fix..

Oh well, they're worth the effort though..!

James
