I really do not understand now, this site does the UK300 for £19979

Just checked it out. Yes, does seem a little odd. I thought the UK300 was preped by Prodrive with 250 being sold via dealers in the UK and 50 via dealers in Ireland. To import them would suggest that IM have lost the plot and prepared to devalue the car via importers. The UK300 was meant to be a UK only special.

The stats on the UK300 are the same as the standard WRX so I am not convinced this page is accurate.

Are these prices quoted ex-VAT and ex-tax for diplomats, tax-free sales etc? Looks like it.

Gaz 1048- The standard UK300 and WRX are the same spec, performance wise. There are only cosmetic differences. Therefore the site description is correct.
However if you pay an additional £1,600 the PPP will enhance the preformance over the WRX. The site shows that you can add the PPP for an additional £1,360, compared to £1,600 in the UK...

I've spoken to Micronet twice and they have yet to return either call. The first time I called they didn't even know that the car was on their site and also didn't know anything about it!. With a bit more digging the guy admitted that they look at what cars seem popular and then just stick them on the site and apply a standard discount over and above the UK equivelent. The £19,997 plus VAT does not come to the UK300 price of £24,995 but the PPP at £1,360 does come out at £1,600 when you add VAT.
Overall I'd say that this is one company to disregard and keep to a more reputable site to compare to UK prices/dealers.
If I'm wrong I'll happily buy a UK300 at their price with PPP fitted!
