Teesside (or nearby) members???

Just wondering if all the Teesside members wanted to post on here, I have only met one off here so far, but there are loads of Scoobs in the area so there must be loads of Scoobynetters?
Oh yeah if you use msn post that here too as well!
I have a blue/black 2002MY WRX on order with plans for some nice mods, I currently drive a Puma and a 98MY 5door in red.

I'm here in Ingleby, Jamie
Red MY97 + mods
and Hogster (DBM MY00) who posts on here is also from Stockton, although he's off to the middle east somewhere for a while, so won't see him around.
Cheers,

I met Hogster a couple of weeks ago in McD's car park. Nice guy, with very patient children who didn't make a squeak as we talked, even though they obviously wanted a Happy Meal, not listen to tales of tyres and exhausts!

I'm from Stockton too.
I have a red MY94 WRX with gold speedlines - you cant miss me as I am doing a front end upgrade at the mo and I have a silver bonnet and a white grill.
I think I've seen Andy H about but not many others.
Do we have enough people for a meet and a run out?

I still don't see many Turbos in the area on a regular basis.
Am I allowed to ask this?
Does anyone know how L373HPY (White 4dr) and N233BAJ (Green Mica 4dr with Gold Safari Alloys) are? I owned both and they were smashing cars; hope they're still going strong.
I bought both from SG Petch in Richmond and traded them back there (June '96 and April '98). I've seen the White one a few times and spoken to the owner, but I understand he's traded it in now. Not even SG Petch knows where the Green one is.

I live in leafy Hampshire - but my heart is in Stockton-on-Tees where I was born and spent my first 13 years of life - does that count?
Boro for the premiership title this year?

Finally got round to registering after months of reading. Toonman are you from the Yarm area? If so I've seen both your cars when you owned them. I've a MY 98 Reddish blue, 16" Speedlines,SS box, reg H2***

I used to live in Yarm, but in N Yorks now. Moving back soon (spending too much in petrol to get to work from here...). I'll look out for you. Now got a 98R White 4dr - no external mods. It's usually filthy dirty, so fairly easy to spot!

I reckon your white L Reg must have ben one of the first in the area. You don't see many in white looks god though. Be prepared for a shock if you're looking to buy another property in Yarm, prices seem to have rocketed.

Used to go fishing in Yarm 35years ago .... the prices may have rocketed but think of us here in Hampshire .... 1 bedroomed house, 2 up 2 down - are you ready? £95,000!!!!
I might retire to Yarm when I retire ....... AND BUY IT!!

My White L reg was one of the 1st in the country - 07 April '94 - I think. Prised from the clutches of the dealer (their demo), before they were ready to sell. I was quoted 6 months waiting on a 5dr or 9 on a 4dr. Spring/Summer '94; I remember it well!
Actually, I don't - all gone in a petrol fueled haze, of Scooby onwership...
Thanks for the tip about house prices. We've bought one though. Yarm/Eaglescliffe/Ingleby B. area's a Hell of a lot cheaper than most parts of N Yorks. Small 2 up 2 down Cottage -£120,000, with no garden or even parking space let alone garage. And bloody tourists everywhere... Just like we will be soon!

Cool! I've just moved from naughty Nunthorpe 2 weeks ago!
Ive probably seen your car a few times! The Scoob Ive been running (My Dad's inceDENTally!) Is a Red 98MY 5Dr with lots of rally stylee scratches and dents, none of them my own work I may add!
I am usually seen fishtailing the Impreza off Guisborough Road onto Dixons Bank! (My tyres were wet and I thought I was trying to get the Ouma off the line!)

Wow what a response!
We should all go for a drive meeting or who's up for a trip to Croft?
As Andy might remember I tried to arrange a meeting a couple of years ago but we ended up terrorising Richmond instead!!!!

HI m8
Didnt realise there were so many of us out there
Im in Mucky Marton myself
DBM MY00 Wagon bog standard.
Spend most of the daylight hours trolling to Hartlepool & back
(I'll wave when I see you Jason )
But can sometimes be found at twilight on the back road from Hemlington to Stokesley
( best time for a 'clear run' )

Hogster here!!! All the way from Yanbu in Saudi - a hot hellhole in the middle of the desert. No alcohol, no bacon butties nout!! Full of mad drivers in big'ol low riders cruising in any lane
BTW drive a MY99 DBM wagon with Scooby Sport BB. Pretty std
If you see it driving around it will be my missus - hopefully not another bloke!!!
Toonman - good to see you the other week, got your tyres sorted now? and yes the kids were hungry - they couldn't understand why someone else wanted to talk cars whilst there was a Happy meal being wasted.
Hoope to be back in August to drive the Scoob missing it !!!

Hi Hogster!
My Wife knows of Yanbu (she worked in the UAE for a few years) - she sympathises with you...
No tyres yet. I'll probably got with SO2 PPs again (if I can find some). The SO3s don't sound too good.
Give my apologies to the kids when you speak to them next. Happy Meals are on me next time!
Take care.
PS Jamie - well done for starting this thread!
