Turbo timers and immobilisers?
#1
I investigated it and decided best bet would be to get a whole new Clifford alarm system with these features (and more) built in. But then I couldnt afford it, so it is the next job once some money comes in.

Thinking of buying a turbo timer as my neighbours think I've lost it sitting doing nothing in the scoob for 2 mins every day! (I reckon they think i'm obsessive)
I have a Cobra pen type immobiliser and was wondering how the two will work together.
Anyone know?

Mark,
I reckon your Cobra thingie will probably be fine although my Blitz timer keeps the engine running I can not alarm the car until it has stopped the engine. I have to lock it with the key which is such a hag - don't know how we managed before central locking...

Does the cobra do passive immobilisation (ie cut in automatically after x seconds of the engine being off). If it does then the turbo timer will keep the engine running for as long as you have it set, then, x seconds after the engine has gone off the immobiliser will cut in.
This is the way I understood it anyway
