BROKE DOWN SCOOB
#1
So u guys may or may not have seen my prev posts on driving techqns as i found my car spluttering at around 4-5000rpm. Oh, 93MY WRX JDM by the way...
But this weekend was a nightmare..........
Fuel gauge stopped working..
Handbrake light stays on....
Lost all power on a motorway and pulled over to find car wouldnt start, and would just 'turn-over'...
Had to take front lip off to tow it up the carrier, to find that the spoiler had been repaired with fibre glass paste, and not very well i must add...
And the bumper doesn't sit properly on one side.....!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to get all this sorted under the warranty. Can you believe though.. HAD THE CAR, LESS THAN A WEEK!!!!!!!!!
Although, with all these complaints, car drove beautifully on the way there. Just need to get rid of the limiter now!

not sure at all!!
all that happened is that i had a complete loss of power to the car, but it was still running!!!!!
basically, there was no drive to the engine whatsoever??!?!?!?!?!

I just realised this is the first report I have read in over two years on this board of a scoob breaking down (although I may have missed some).
Amazing
Tough that it happend to you though
The component most likely to fail in a scoob appears to be the driver from what I have read on here
Hope its sorted out soon!
