I am trying to find a way of reducing the wind noise on my STI 3 wagon & wondered if removing the smoked plastic trim imediately above the doors on the bodyshell will help. I assume this is to remove draughts if you drive with the window open but has anybody removed it & did it help?

Yes it cuts wind noise but the mounting clips look unsightly or the area behind where they were.
Turn up the stereo?
