Just got back from Sarlat - France
#1
Just got back from France after two weeks pottering around the Dordogne just outside Sarlat. To the only other Scoob I saw all holiday an S reg silver wagon the reason I couldn't keep up was my wife banned me from overtaking.
Anyway what a reception, my brother in law followed me a lot of the time and he said the number of looks we got was amazing, people were sticking thumbs up on the motorway and all sorts... standard UK WRX except for clear side repeaters and a WRX back box.
Great fun and can't wait for next year.

One of my favorite places in France! stayed many a time at the campsite "Roffy" 4 miles NW of Sarlat. Great Market.. unfortunatly hadn`t got the Scoob then to make the best of the local roads.
Hope you had a great time.

Lovely part of the world
My mum's got a house in St Cyprien, which is about 20 minutes south-west of Sarlat on the road to Bergerac.
The Scooby gets a great reception down there
Roads aren't bad either ... one night we "popped out" to test the new driving lights and got back some 4 hours and 200 miles later

Dave,
I know the feeling, took my STI-V from Calais to Cherbourg last week, spent a few days out in France, beautiful roads (Billiard Smooth) - Got loads of waves and stuff it was really bizarre, plus the French know how to drive on their motorways unlike this country.
I did see one French STI-7.
I was in a completely different neck of the woods to where you went but still a lovely drive nonetheless
