Anyone got any bright ideas how we can easily spot each other when out and about.

I was thinking along the lines of a simple bright yellow circle in the top corner of the windscreen. Could anyone out there produce something for about 50p a pop + an SAE??

Regards
kurt

Question

What about a SILVER ribbon on the aerial?

How about instead of flashing lights - give the hazards a flash??

Nobody waves at me in MK anymore, their even worse in Hemel! The most waves that I got was when I borrowed a MY01 for the weekend.

how about a small blue flashing light thats in the grill?
if you come up behind a scooby doo you could turnit on and see if they pull over 4 a chat with you, would be dead easy to fit, i'd ask craigamungos to fit it 4 me!! lol

or a reflective strip that could fit/stick on that plastic spoiler band thats on the drivers wiper blade, even at nite ur lights would pick up om it!, what colour would we go 4 tho?
white?

Yellow circle, hmm, I believe that Lancaster Subaru use a round yellow sticker on the drivers side of the window, think it holds some service card or details when you next service is.

I'm with Puff though, as I think most people should recognise the blackbeast, especially with the still unrepaired damge on the drivers side.

Oh, and I will be getting a few scoobynet stickers put on. Plus it might have a nice logo on the back at sometime in the future which should also aid recognition.

The yellow circle idea came about from the need for something very visible. I'm not sure how easily spotted a scoobynet sticker is when you're heading in the other direction??

A yellow circle (especially a Day-glo one) could be spotted at a distance.

"Nobody waves at me in MK anymore, their even worse in Hemel!"

I reckon the Yellow Circle is an excellent idea, need something readily recognisable at speed and distance!

Its true cars from Lancaster Subaru do have a yellow sticker in drivers side windscreen as mine came from there. If they were illumious then that would be great and easily spotted.

Kurt

Yes, you could be correct!

They don't wave because they just give me a knowing nod and a wry smile to say 'there goes a classy guy, wish I was as cool as him'.

They're just in awe of me you see.

Or instead of a yellow circle, a yellow silhouette of scooby doo just placed in the top right corner of the windscreen and on the rear.

Or grow a beard like Shaggy. Or maybe wear a roll-neck top like Velma.....or perhaps a pair of tight hipsters and wide collared floral shirt like Fred....

I've got Robertio in white letters in the rear windows, and have had 2 waves in the month since they were added, the same number as I received in the whole of the previous year (thanks for the stickers go to salsa king )

I still like the idea of the scoobynet logo on the number plate, but I got ignored the last time I suggested it, so I wont bring it up again
