Car covers
#1
A mate of mine told me not to get a car cover because dust collects and then wears the paint on the edges of the car. Not sure if this is true. Has anyone heard of this problem, if so can you get good covers that don't harm the paintwork at all. If not I'm going to have to build me a garage.

Have used a car cover for just over two years and can confirm it was money well spent. Got the cover from covercraft its 95% waterproof but fully breathable, so if water does penetrate it will evapourate off once weather is dry. It is very soft on the inside and pretty much asured not to scratch the paintwork. After two years outside my cars paintwork and trim still look new it also has the added bonus of keeping u/v in sunlight from bleaching the interior cost was £200 inc storage bag and lockable fastner.Hope this is of use.
