As above at a garage which I will not name. Car had WR pack on (18" wheels, bigger brakes etc), scorpion exhaust system and leather!!! Didn't know P1s could come with leather. Thought it looked awful in a car such as this! Can anyone confirm this was a factory option?
Sat in to discover hinge on dash storage tray was damaged, and Kenwood Mask didn't close properly. Put's me off when I find niggles like this as you then start to wonder what else has been neglected! Had full service tho'.

Leather is an option. Must agree I don't like it in Scoobs either - doesn't really suit the 'rally' image IMHO.

Interior build quality has never been a Scoob strong point, so don't read too much into it. FSH and warranty are very important. Take it out for a drive and see how it feels. If you know someone who has already got one, take them with you. Also remember to do an HPI check to make sure there is no outstanding finance on the car. Oh yes, then get an insurance quote

Thanks guys. ChrisL, I know I didn't make it clear but I have an STi already so I realise the insurance costs (unless P1 is significantly more?). Was time-wasting really as my friend works at this particular garage. Another 18 months - 2 years or so should see me in a P1 mi thinks!

Defeats the object of the hip-hugging seats as leather can make your *** slide about.

Know what you mean Nick. Some lot of years ago, when Adam was a lad, I had a Mitsubishi turbo with leather (sorry boys, I'll post my chamber of power horrors in Members Gallery one day, I had a lot!) and my *** would either end up on the handbrake or door handle depending on left or right corners. More suited to things like Volvo's. Not a Scoob thing.

If u have an Sti already why the interest in the P1.
Unless you havd an Sti older than a V4 not worth it.
If you do buy an Sti V5 and save thousands. People will find I'm always harping on about this but look at the prices some V5 STis are selling for, its amazing how much you can get for 13/15K.
