I know that the Japs drive on the same side as the UK which is why you lot buy cars from them but, Prodrive rallycars are LHD so does this mean that they do exist normally and can be purchased by Joe Public or are they a special just for Prodrive. Only we can't get STI's, 22B's, P1 or 2 door Impreza's here in Sausageland due to the steering wheel being on the wrong side. So my question is can you get a road going LHD car apart from the American RS?

Wurzel,
There are a few STI's here in Greece including 2 door ones in LHD. There is a workshop here that either brings them in and swaps them over to LHD or they are GT's and they do an STI conversion. They sell at STI prices. Whose to say they don't paint the manifold in red and the IC in silver and re do the interior to STI spec though. A friends friend went to buy one and asked for the STI certification and because this could not be produced he did not buy it. I also heard a rumour the STI's were being brought in by this workshop from Belgium. Are they available there?
WREXY.
PS. He ended up buying an EVO6 MAC instead.

Wurzel,
Wait a bit more... The rumour is that in 2002 STis will be officially imported to continental Europe. That would mean LHD STis with full warranty.
Of course this is just something I heard from a dealer but it sounds very promising.
