Terminology
#1
A newb question: what does the MYxx terminology mean? From the context I've seen it written here it's something along the lines of Manufacturing Year (year). Is that it? i.e. MY97... 1997 Scoob.

And there are others you'll see on here that can be a bit confusing...until you know what they mean. Apologies if you already know all this
TTT (BTTT) - to the top (back to the top) - threads are arranged in order of the newest at the top of the page to oldest at the bottom. Hence they move down the page as more threads are added or older ones are replied to. TTT added to your thread as a reply moves it up the list again, as would any reply. You could type "cheesy ***** flakes" and it would have the same effect..
YHM - you have e-mail
IMO - in my opinion (or IMHO in my HONEST opinion..)
IIRC - if I remember correctly
AFAIK - as far as I know
STFU - please be quiet ...well, almost
Thats enough. No idea if its of any help to anyone, but hey! it got my post count up another point

Model Year - that makes more sense. Yeah, cheers... most of those I'm familiar with from other boards but B/TTT was new to me.
OK, whilst we're on terminology/definitions - what's a Dawes device?

Dawes Device is a manual boost controller. Basically it fools the ECU into giving you more turbo boost. Do a search and you'll find loads of threads.

Edited to include a couple of websites
Have a look at the Dawes website. Also have a look at the JW Racing website. Chris
