All,

I work at Woking for Geoff Strachen who report to Tony Grace (MD Cust Ops) I work for Field Ops.

I can be seem occasionally at Woking in a suit, but my office is at Aztec West Bristol.

Well it's a small world, isn't it.

Charlie H, you must work for Chris Carling then, good bloke he is!! Oh and the network in Yorkshire is fantastic If I'd have known you worked for us, I would have let you have the remote for nothing Is it working ok ?

Nick, who do you work for ?

Scoobysnacks, and who might that be ?

I have a 93 wrx cos my company vehicle is a van (I'm a grade 4 and didn't want to pay the tax on a cr4ppy focus estate) I work for Net ops in Yorkshire so I report to Kevin Barrett. I am going for a senior engineer post soon so might see about upgrading my vehicle allowance to a scoob, now I know you can get them. Been with Yorkshire Cable/Telewest for 6 1/2 years now give me a shout if your up this way anytime. I'm on the internal e-mail list as Charles Haines

Charlie,

Fair play to you mate. I was a network / headend tech many years ago. Went to Woking about 5 years ago, and haven't looked back since.

I'm not entirely sure if the turbo is still on the car list anymore. It's been revised since I got mine, and what a load of hassle that was. Bloody James Hodges. Scooby is a grade two, P1 is a grade one.

I was going to have a motorway sofa (E class) but I'm only 31, so had the Scooby instead.

I pass through Yorkshire all the time usually going to saltaire (P£$e) so next time will e-mail you and we can meet, and have a chat. What area do you normally cover ?

Anyway mate, keep up the good work, and I'll see you soon.

Cheers Phill Cocking.

P.S. I love my cable modem

Cheers all, Phill C

Cool

Do I count?

My compnay provides internal datacabling and some dataproducts (though not much recently) to the east of Scotland offices. If anybody wants to give me some work in the other offices I need an excuse to take the scoob for a run to do the site surveys....

We have also been assisting in installation of cable modems for business.

Babber - Our dept covers all areas as we spend half our time in the office supporting business installers (ie doing configs etc) We also do business maintainence right into customers premises but we don't have set areas we just go out when faults are passed to us. We also run the regional operations centre during office hours. (This is the only time I get to come to work in my scoob as I pass all the faults out to the rest of the guys and therefore don't need the van )Saltaire's not that far from here though, so could meet up sometime
