Prodrive upgrade for a MY02 WRX
#1
Hi, I am thinking of going for a Prodrive performance pack for my 2.0 turbo WRX. At £1600 it's quite expensive. Anyone else had this done?. What was the difference with your insurance?.
And most importantly ... was it worth it ?. :-)
TIA

bought the PPP after having the MY01 for 3 months. Liked the car but thought it lacked some thump. With the PPP, it not only sounded good, it performed much better.
Key thing for me was keeping warranty - otherwise I would have tried other cheaper options.
£90 extra on insurance (added wife at same time - which reduced it slightly)

Hi Mark,
Nice one, thanks for the reply. Out of interest, what did you tell your insurance company?. Did they know what a PPP is?. Did you have to explain the finer details?.
Cheers,
Mark

The PPP makes the car Smiles better, performance, sound, but it did put my insurance up, as it was classified as a mod. Its basically a group 19 something or other, whatever that means. Currently with Norwich Union Club
