Excellent stuff Stef. I can get a fix of the video whilst at work.
One commment I would make is that the bend names aren't very easy to read in white. Perhaps a different colour would be better?

Hi Peeps.
Sales of my 'CK1 @ The Ring' video have today passed the 500 barrier!
Many thanks to all of you that have bought a copy.
To celebrate, Joerund from the 'Ringers' list has put a full lap from the video onto his website, which is available to download in either Real or Div-x, in low or high res.
The site can be found here

Nice one Stef!!
Shame, I didn't see an cossies....had you already killed them
Looks like CK1 is killing the website as well I was only getting 7k download from my work link, normally I'm in the region of 80k plus. I had to download the small video instead but it's still good quality.
Definitely worth the download

Awesome! Pity that you were held up by a couple of bikes at the Karousel.
All I've got to do is chop 2 minutes off of my time, and I'll be up there with you.
Duncan (who goes a lot slower in pre-war cars on cross ply tyres - but would still be slower in CK1)

Truly amazing. Fantastic piece of footage. I'm gonna go back and download the rest now.
Loved the varied traffic too, esp. the roadworks on the exit of the corners....!
Keep up the good work.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeze Stef
Couple of questions for ya :-
What tyres do you use ? They didn't appear to go "off" on the clip, were they road tyres or slicks ?
What's your suspension setup - seems to handle fantastically
Great video.
Cheers
Mark

Cheers guys.
Chris.
I had nothing to do with the names being put on.
Y655.
CK1 is used daily for work and covers approx 1000 miles a WEEK!!
Mark.
I was using Yoko A520 road tyres on the vid, very good on dry tracks and very hard wearing. Bit poo in the wet though.
The car was running standard shocks with Eibach springs.
Bob.
Great to hear from you mate, you and the guys were absolute heroes!
I owe you all one.
Stef.

Justin.
If you want a copy of the video, send me an e-mail and I'll tell you how to get one.
The exhaust is a full cat-less Scorpion system.

wow, thats some Miles Stef,
suppose it is to your Credit that the Car is in such good condition
I take it you tend to go for the more Drivable Mods, rather than the Massive power increase ones, too retain the drivablity of the car ?
or am i just barking up the wrong tree.. lol

how come sometimes the rear spoiler is clearley visable in the rear view mirror and then suddenly goes off the bottom of the mirror.
is this a very good example of body flex,if so it just goes to show how much cars do actually bend and twist!!

Absolutely brilliant download, pleasure rating 10/10
What sort of top end did you achieve by the way
Sound was superb, exhaust great, induction (what type?)not bad either, must agree A520's are spooky in the wet, but it add's to the fun does'nt it.
Cheers, Dukey

Stef > great stuff young man
Having recently been to the ring for the first time and taken some footage, it's nice to see someone do it properly
When I was sitting in the passenger seat of my chums car going round we came across all sorts of things doing a lap; a coach load of tourists, a mini van, a convoy of porka GT3s, pretty much anything you could think of!
I'm soon to be getting 325mm disks and 4 pots on the front of my machine, then I'd love to go back and do some laps for myself
PS. at work managed to download at 195k/sec, amazing!

Y665.
The car is in 'ok' condition.
And yes, I have tended to go for handling mods rather than big power ones, so far.
S600.
The spoiler disappears because the tripod is moving slightly, that's all.
Dukey.
Top speed on that trip was about 145mph indicated on the first main straight with the dips in it. If you look at the speedo on some laps you can work it out.
The induction kit is a K&N.
mook.
That's what makes the Ring so nutty!
