Talking

I was just about to buy a P1 when i saw an imported sti uk, one month old 1000 miles in a local garage. Got him down to £20k. So went for it. F**king love it. Want the prodrive spoiler for it any ideas on where and how much?

Any other new sti uk owners out there - and r u all loving the car?!

A very good choice, the Jap version STi is nice. No limitations on it, just wat it was built with. What fuel do you people have in the Uk? Cos if it was fresh off the boat it would hav had some of that beautiful Japenese petrol in it Humming like a bee. Then we feed it that excuse for petrol that we hav over here...... HIGH OCTANE!!!!

yep definitely type uk 261bhp (3 cats) and on registration documents.

Just deciding what to save up for first on the modifications, think maybe the induction kit has any fellow-owners had any mods done to theirs yet?

bob gerrard in Leicester, mainly import honda but occasionally get involved with others. It was on their forecourt for £21k, and came down to £20k.

I couldnt believe it either but its all legit. and im well pleased with the car.

The best bit is i dont have to break it in, its been done already!

If its type UK then its a UK car, not an import.

Question

quote: "yep definitely type uk 261bhp (3 cats)"

I thought the type UK has two cats, one in the downpipe, and another in the centre pipe. The uk WRX has three cats with an additional cat in the up-pipe.

Which garage was it ? I could certainly do an STI UK for £20k. Hows that for deprication though ? The previous owner must have half taken a wack. Good buy for you though

Edited to ask which other countries sell the type UK for it to be imported ?
