octane booster

Being fairly new to all this, could someone recommend me an octane booster for a MY95 WRX and also how much you need to put in, do you need to reset ECU as well?

If you've got an import model (japanese), then yes you will need to use SUL + booster. Various people have various preferences, at the end of the day you will need to experiment with them all and decide for yourself what works best. If your experimenting with different fuels/boosters, then reseting the ECU is also a good idea.
Personally, I use (and sell) Nitrous Formula booster.

In order of my preferences
NF - excellent stuff
Millars - good, CVL very good but supposedly not for road use - you can see the plants die as you drive along
Silkolene ProBoost - similar to Millars but more toxic!
To be fair I have not tried Nitrous formula yet - supposed to be very good
