Help needed with scooby!
#1
You can't see anything from the outside of the door. The gaps are the same etc.
It is just when you open the door the is a ridge just above the catch on both sides.
I don't know if that is a standard thing or not?
Anyone willing to have a look on there car?

I needed some urgent help with my scooby.
About 6 weeks ago someone ran in to the back of me. I am still waiting for the repair work to be carried out!!
The problem I have is that I have just opened the back doors and notice a ridge in the metal just above the catch that the back door clicks into. This line is on both sides, same angle.
Could somebody have a quick look for me and see if they have this same line in the metal! ( I don't have anyone that lives near me with a scooby).
I don't no if this ridge was there before or not? I took my car for a quote at subaru they did not open the back doors or put it on the ramps.
If anyone has a digital camera could they take a quick pic of that area.
Now worried even more about my baby!

If there are marks from the doors in the back of the car (inside of where the doors close), than you car has been severly damaged as the back has "moved forward". I'm not sure if that can be fixed.
Your children are safe if you get hit in the back (when standing) by a car doing less than 25-30 mph.

Victoria - just had a look, there's not a ridge directly above the catch, however, on the bit of metal next to the catch sloping back towards the outside of the car (is this making sense? I don't have a digital cam - sorry ) there is a ridge sloping the length of the metal, same on each side.... Hope that's some help, sorry about not having pics...
