buying guidance

hello all, i`ll start with an introduction. i currently own a modded silver mk4 golf V5 and i am now ready to buy my dream car, obviously an impreza. i would like some help though with this as i do not know what to look for and how to spot a good or bad-un. i have about 10-11,000, and dont mind if its two or 4 door. advise on buying one and maybe where to go would be apreciated. cheers.

Have a read of this www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm and get some insurance quotes on UK cars and grey imports as it will probably affect your decision. Easy enough to get a typical insurance quote www.directline.co.uk. A UK car is group 17-18 a prodrive chipped Uk car is about 17-19 and most imports are 20+
