Got a MY99 UK silver car. Dealer told me it's Premium Silver, seen same car advertised as Royal Silver on the Subaru site, the touch up pen (colour code 792) claims to be Arctic Silver.

Wots goin on ?

The paint code should be on the metal plate under the bonnet (passenger side wing).

Post it up and someone will tell you which one it is.

It should be Royal Silver as an MY99

Funny that, my touch up was called "Arctic Silver" as well, but paint code was the same as for "Royal Silver"

I assumed different name for different markets. Match was excellent.

Have a look under the bonnet, on the plaque, see if the paint code is the same number as on the touch up.

And IIRC no such colour as premium silver for MY99, so your dealer is wrong.

Paint code on the plate says 792 and the touch is 792 - it's a perfect match colour wise too.

Presume the colour is Royal Silver then, not Arctic or Premium ?
