Question

How many people have had a claim under warranty refused because of modifying (filter/exhaust)? And was this the only excuse they could manage (the dealer/inspector).

This depends on what work you need doing - if you've blown an engine, then they're gonna look on it unfavourably. Try Cheam Subaru in Surrey - they service my p1 with all sorts on it with no quibbles - i think they like taking it for a rant mind ;-)
