0 - 62mph...

Hello all,
Just looking through the tech specs of my Alfa 155 2.0 16v TS (1997)
The 0-62 time from a standing start, has...
'2 adults plus 20 Kgs'
Is this the same for most car manufacturers... or just alfa?
I've never really heard of this before. It would account why my actual recorded time is quicker...
BTW i'm not posting you the time... you'll only laugh as it's butt slow against the scoob

Yes this is normal, most manufacturers and magazines will test the cars with two passengers and a full tank of fuel. Oh and 0-62mph(0-100kmh) is always fraction longer than 0-60mph, those 2 mph will add about 0.1-0.3 secs. So you should be able to beat the manufacturers time, if you are timing the 0-60mph.
