I have an interview tomorrow morning working for Capita Education Services in Blackburn as Web Developer.

However the main Capita site is down at the mo, and I need to find out more about the company. I know they are in management/support services and cover all sorts from HR to local housing. Anyone got anything else?

They are a large facilities management company. Their website ain't too helpful mate to be honest - I'm trying to sell them a IT Services Solution at the moment and the Website is just a vague mess for the group as a whole.

Ask them about Lambeth Borough Council - that'll go down like a bacon sarnie at a bar mitzvah. Lambeth Council are currently sueing them to the tune of £20 million for breach of contract.

i used to work for a capita company in the early nineties just after Capita Group floated on the AIM market.

probably too long ago now to be of any value but very hard-nosed outfit.

if you read private eye, they are often amusingly lampooned there for allegedly ****-up public sector projects (as are EDS, also allegedly).
