Just dont tell anyone, especially the muppets what thread it is! they will make sure you have at least 100 mail in your inbox within 5 minutes

If it's a major problem, use report to moderator.

Might be able to add a rule to your e-mail client so that all the notification e-mails are deleted from your mail server without downloading.

Or change your e-mail address in your scoobynet profile to one you don't check that regularly (a hotmail one, for example).

It can't be stopped I'm afraid. One drunken night I clicked on the email notification box on a muppet thread - "one post per muppet per day". I've received thousands of emails so far and expect to receive thousands more. That'll teach me!!!
