Scoob is coming up to 3 years old, so working out petrol costs. Assuming my Scoob does 30 mpg average and SUL costs 77.9 ppl or 71.9 ppl for UL, then if I move to a 330d assuming I get 40mpg from that then I save between £150-£207 THOUSAND pounds over the 60k miles I will expect to do.

GULP!!! Leaves plenty of money for a Caterham/Westfield though

regards,

greg

Sorry gregh, that makes no sense. You say you'll save £207,000?

I think you're talking ****e, or not explaining yourself very coherently!

Mate, you are using 1500 gallons over 60,000 miles @ 40 mpg and 2000 gallons @ 30 mpg = 500 gallons more.

Assume 1 gallon = 4.5 litres, then you are using 2,250 litres more.

At current prices this amounts to appx £1,600.

Your calculations are screwed

Talking

Greg,

For what period of time were you convinced you'd save £217,000 on a year's worth of petrol? Not more than 5 seconds, surely??!!
