CROFT TRACK DAY - What a Blast!!!!
#1
Just a little note to thank everyone for making the event at Croft yesterday so fab!
Most people seemd to cope with the horrendous weather quite well, whilst others weren't quite so able (it was those bloody P-Zero's again they're cursed I tell ya! ).
Track etiquette was also exceptional.
Fabulous circuit, I really wish I could have used the slicks. Flat through the Jim Clark esses would have been awesome!
Nice to meet some of you Northern Muppets too!
Great to see Mike from Prodrive there in the UK301 , great driving chap.
Also nice to finally meet Mike from PD, top bloke and that RTRS system is simply superb, especially as it's now gracing CK1!
Thanks for all the commments about my new FMIC too.
We'll definitely be back up there again, and have actually teamed up with Mike to bring you a huge Northern Meet/Track Day at Elvington airfield on August 10th (details in relevant setions).
Huge thanks too to Mark from TN who worked tirelessly all day, well doen mate.
I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Stef.

Stef,
Top day m8 and many so, many thanks! Mark from TN was busy from the word go and once again proved invaluable, great cars, top people and truly British weather
The RTRS system looks the dogs in CK1 and Mike@PD should be damn proud of a top class product!
All the best,
Mossman

Thanks for the invite and I can assure you that I had great fun in the pouring rain under the gazebo with my RTRS, whilst you lot raced around the circuit ---- NOT
Liked the intercooler and CK should be better prepared for the NBR.... That said, the RTRS will not improve your brakes or make the tyres stick better so take care !
For those who are interested, we transfered the RTRS system into Stefs CK1. It was the first time I had touched it with a spanner and it went well. Clearly our time was doubled because it had to be removed from my car and refitted to CK1. The rear (semi permanent) rear struts took about 3/4 of an hour to fit. The RTRS bit took only 5 minutes to take out and about 10 to put back. Not bad for the first time.
Thanks to all those who showed interest in the system and especially those who ordered them.
Special thanks to Mark of Northampton Tyres who provided excellent service and worked his nuts off. Mossman and Debs who braved the elements to help me bring the car to Croft and although I was not driving, the marshalls who always get the rough end of the stick.

What a great day! I was a bit nervous at the start as I was a track day virgin, but my cherry has been well and truly popped So impressed at the overall behaviour from everyone. Not once did I get hassled for going a bit slower than you experienced guys
Round of applause for Harvey who managed to get both front AND back discs a light according to Mark from TN
Roll on August 10th
