Hello all,

How much would a bonnet from a MY99 weigh? I'm thinking about fitting a Cusco bonnet who is available in either FRP (5kg) or Carbon (4kg). I imagine the standard bonnet is about 10 kg over??
The Cusco bonnet has some nicely shaped air outlets, have a look here

Sorry Japanese only, but you'll figure out, the bonnet i want is displayed in the blue box, it is not mounted on the car displayed here....

Also I heard that bonnet "holders" are needed if fitting a carbon item, is that true??

I would think that the MY99 bonnet weighs a lot closer to 20kg than 10kg. Just guessing, but 10 kg is not a lot. I would think that even the Subaru Aluminium bonnet is 10kg plus.
