South Yorkshire Scoobs
#2
Hi Andy
Yes I'm from S.Yorks - Sheffield. It would be good to have a meet in this area as I'm having to go down to Staffs for my first one.
My Scoob was stolen last week so dont know how quickly I'll be able to get another, but hopefully I could turn up if still Scoobless and offer my support (And get a lift!)
Let me know if you need any help
Amanda

Banshi,
Didn't know there was a W. Yorks group! I'd be happy to join them to remove the stigmatising parochial label!
-especially if you buy the beers
No joy from the police, boo hoo. Insurance people are coming tonight to offer me lots of money...not.
Andy, if I keep replying to your post it will look like you've got a really big gang of us together

If you lot weren't so parochial you could link with the W Yorks group They welcome everyone.
Even me, when I promise to buy the beer.[/quote]
And me, and I live in Lancashire - how odd
Great bunch though, but I still have more members to meet yet

At this rate we can meet in my scoob, surely there are more than three of us? At this rate we'll have to join up with the west yorks lot.
ScooBabe, sorry to here about your car, thanks for all the posts I'm sure we've got everybody thinking we have a thriving area group.
Cheers

A big shout out to the west/south yorkshire scooby massif.....(well 4 of you). Are you thinking having a meet? I'm live in Thurlstone which is not that far out of Sheffield, and would be up for a meet sometime in the near future...

Big shout out to James
I'd be up for a meet sometime. Unfortunately I'm probably not going to have another Scoob for at least another month
Would love to come along anyway, I'm going to the Staffs meet this weekend and they've been very accommodating and am really looking forward to it
Dreamweaver, sorry to hear that you've had a similar experoience, did you get another Scoob?
Amanda.... helping to keep the S Yorks flag flying, well fluttering a bit

Come slightly north and you'll find many, many more . You cannot drive down the Kirkstall road in Leeds without being waved at - I believe there's a strict rotation system in place to ensure that there's always at least one scoob going in the opposite way for your journey.
How it happens I just don't know.
I believe there's a re-run of a recent northern meet if you're interested in trekking across the moors?

Giving away our secrets eh, you'll be telling 'em about the funny handshakes next!
Suppose we could accomodate a couple more outcasts though. Could be half a dozen P1s now if we count the travellers and your m8s mobile billboard
P.S. There area few of the gang at Donnington this afternoon.
