removing bird crap scratches???

Hi all, not too sure where to post this so mods please fell free to move... but i need to fix up the paint on me Dads motor, hes forever parking under a tree, and his paint work is getting scratched when the bird craps removed, its a year old beemer in gleaming black and its being destroyed, has anyone any tips? fixing paint and future protection? thx in advance

Five pint...first rule is never to park under the tree!!!! Apart from the bird bombs he will also get covered in tree sap.
When washing the car soften the bombs with warm water and then sponge away using plenty of water. next he will need some protection and some effort to remove the scratches. You can do it or I can come and visit.
If all else fails, as someone already said "Chop the tree down!" or get rid of the bimmer and buy a wreck instead if he persists in parking under the tree esp without protection.
