ok then...

i'm not rushing in an buying the terzo after all...

but a question

if i bought through my dealer friend an impreza

obviously not through a subaru dealership or anything and this is probably a really stupid question but...

would i be able to get any or extend lets say any existing subaru warranty ????

Hmm, not sure with Subaru. Obviously the first year of the cars life is with Subaru UK, the 2nd two is extended. After that you get the reminder to take more exteneded warranty if the car is under 60,000 miles.

Not sure what would happen if this hadn't been followed somewhere along the line.

The only real-life experience was with Volkswagen. I got a 1 year warranty with the car - Dealer built this into the cost, but it was with the official VAG company. I then got reminders every year to extend it - still getting them even though the car was sold 2 years ago

I'd phone a Dealer and ask what warranty they would give on a used car. Then contact Subaru UK (IM) and ask if they would extend a warranty on a used car bought through an approved Dealer.

Afterall the advertise these cars on their official website.
