Question

I have a small problem with my Ford

MY01 Fiesta 1.3 when I sit in neutral with the engine running and clutch depressed the engine sounds okay. With the clutch up it sounds noisier. I think it has got worse BTw teh car has done 2000 miles. Its under warranty so there isnt really an issue just wondered if anyone had come across this. I think it maybe a warped clutch plate, any ideas ?.

Here comes the scoob element to the post it has an SIDC sticker in the back window .

Cheers

ChrisP

They all do it, clutch release bearing I think. You could get em to change it, but it will happen again! My Ka does the same.

yeah, prolly the release bearing.... will start groaning when you slip the clutch soon! Could be the input shaft on the gearbox, either way just screw the hell out of your warranty!
