Has anyone done this? Did you go to a Scooby dealer or a windscreen dealer? How much? Normally would just lift the phone and sort out for myself but it's holiday season here in Ulster.

My screen went whilst following a person who liked to drive in the gutter. Thwack a lovely chip right at the bottom of the screen. Two days later you guest it hello crack.
I have had to wait 2 weeks for the trim to arrive.Again the screen replacement company did not have the trim but had the screen, stupid or what. They ordered it fron Subaru who then sent it to the main dealer, who then had to ship it on to the local dealer !!!!!!!!.
Still having it fixed on Tuesday.

Had mine done a few weeks back. Went through my insurance company & they used Autoglass. I checked with my dealer who said they used Autoglass too. They did it all in my work's carpark. £50 excess, no problems whatsoever.
Editted to add, they couldn't do it on the day I wanted as they had to order this type of windscreen- which meant I had to wait until the next day.

**Caution Alert**
Wagon windscreens are a different size to saloon ( 'bout 1/2 inch longer ) - make sure they know what the bodyshell is...
Trim is different to <MY00 years (single part)
Tinting was green on mine.
Just been through all this on my MY01
No idea on costs - I just paid the excess. Somewhere around £250 for the screen, 30-40 for the trim to guess.
