Just purchased a 'scaled down' Sti5 spoiler and was unsure whether I should drill the boot lid. I was wondering how Prodrive approached the issue? Did they drill or use tape on the P1? The spoiler came with some Halfords trim tape which just doesn't look like it will do the job.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Otis.

basically the p1 spoiler consisted of a sti 5 bottom half and a prodrive top. the sti part was attached by ~12 screws via drilling the boot, the p1 boot is aluminium so will not rust but if you have a normal uk boot it could rust

Fix it well!
I know someone who had their P1 spoiler nicked (pulled off) & its now probably circulating on the back of a nova. cost a small fortune to replace
