Question

Chaps,

Does anybody know if the Subaru Lip Spoiler for the WRX MY01/02 fits on a non Prodrive Style STi 7? (I thought that the bumpers were the same but after going to Armourfend this morning, they say not)

Cheers,

Matt

If you are talking about the front lip / under spoiler, yes it does. I would therefore assume that any MY01/02 lip will fit the standard MY02 STI.

As far as I know, all bumpers on the MY01-02 saloon are identical, the only exception being the Type UK STI 7.
Hope this helps.

Update

Matt and I checked the part number for a front bumper from the UK STi and a UK WRX - they where the same.

Which makes what Armourfend saying they were different odd....I'll let AF know but from an AF point of view, it's ok 'cos they used my car as the template for future non-Prodrive Style STi's.....

Yes, it will definitely fit a none Prodrive car, perhaps armorfend were thinking of the Prodrive car which it will not fit

S,

The car is a necessary evil for transporting myself and the wife around on our day to day business The bike is purely for fun (which it excells at )

And Mr T-S, technically, we ALL have Jap Imports

If you wanted a prodrive STI look-alike you shoulda bought one

Glad you are enjoying the car. I had a stunning drive into the office today. Was out at 5:30 and loved giving the car a work out down an empty B Road.

Twisty B road with no hedges, No traffic, Sunny Morning and a well run in STi. Does'nt get much better..

Trust me, those 1st 1000 miles are well worth the effort. Make sure you get the oil changed to semi synth though at a 1000 miles though.

And Neil, if I wanted a Prodrive Style, I would have bought one - this way I get it looking how I want it whilst making it, slightly individual.

Besides, I don't like those wrap around fog light covers
