I get the same problem with my MY99 STI-V, am sure its a cold scooby thing, but I stand corrected if it isnt! - not much help really!

i think its due to the materials in the clutch being cold (e.g. car not been used for a few hours), after 5-10mins of driving it should be ok when its all warmed up again... I guess if it still does it after 15mins+ then its might be worth getting the dealer to check it out... otherwise this happens on all the scoob's i've seen...

I've got a P1 with exactly the same problem. Mines only done about 7500 miles. I was going to mention it next time it goes in for a service. Let me know if you get a solution

By the way, some people say that if you do a few really fast standing starts it will clear it for a while. It's supposed to be a build up of crap on the flywheel or something like that. Go on, burn that clutch!
