MY01 Learning ECU ?
#1
Just heard that our new ECU's "learn" the way we drive, and adapt acordingly ?
How's that ? Anybody's got more data on that ?
Also heard it has 2 resets: 1 for settings, and 1 for entire learnd memory.
Can anybody elaborate on that ?
Cheers

Yup... the chip (And not those chips yuo eat)... and it is inteligent. It adapts do type of fuel (RON95, 98, etc) and seems pretty sensitive to it, air pressure, temperature, etc... I read that it even adapts to people's way to drive. That was my question, actually, before you showed up and messed it up (Always willing to help, right ? )
Yes, for example, people tend to notice the car working smoother with ron 98 than with 95 (I wish I had Ron99+ like you have in belgium's Seca). If they fill it up with 95, the car will change behaviour, and it usually takes a couple of tanks of 98 to return it back to normal....
